Philippa Houseboat

Philippa is a well-maintained pontoon houseboat designed to host up to 12 guests, offering a perfect blend of comfort and adventure on Lake Kariba. Four lower-deck cabins provide cozy stays — two with queen beds and two with twin beds — while extra mattress space on the top deck under mosquito nets allows for stargazing and breezy open-air sleeping. On board, there are three bathrooms with showers on the lower deck and a convenient loo on the upper deck, with all bathrooms fully air-conditioned.

Guests can enjoy a splash pool on the front upper deck beneath an umbrella, along with a mist-spray cooling system and 24-hour inverter-powered lighting and fans for comfort throughout the day and night. Philippa’s galley is fully equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, gas oven, and ice machine, while dining options include an outdoor setup on the lower deck beside the kitchen or a spacious bar and dining area on the top deck, complete with two under-counter fridges and a gas braai for al fresco meals with a view.
