Davidson’s Camp
Nestled within the private Linkwasha Concession deep in Hwange National Park, Davison’s Camp is a classic tented safari retreat named in honour of the park’s first warden. The camp features nine canvas safari tents, including one specially-designed family unit, all shaded beneath ancient false mopane trees and opening onto a bustling waterhole and sweeping plain. Each tent boasts en-suite amenities, fans, Wi-Fi, and a private veranda—perfect for quietly watching elephants, buffalo herds, and other wildlife as they gather to drink.
Beyond the comfort of your tent, Davison’s offers a quintessential African safari experience. The main lodge includes a lounge, bar, open-air dining deck, campfire boma, and a refreshing plunge pool, all with exceptional views over the waterhole. Activities include expert-guided game drives (day and night), walking safaris, bird-watching, and cultural visits to nearby villages. The surrounding concession is rich with wildlife—including lions, leopards, elephants, sable, and a myriad of bird species—while sightings from the camp offer a front-row seat to the wonders of the African bush.
